STATE RECORDS ACT 1998 - SECT 50

50 Open access period for records

For the purposes of this Act, a State record is
"in the open access period" if the record is at least 20 years old. A record is taken to be 20 years old when 20 years have elapsed since it came into existence or since the original record of which it is a copy came into existence.
