Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) A person shall not keep bees or allow bees to be kept in an apiary or in or on any premises or place except in a frame hive provided that honey supers containing fixed comb used exclusively for the storage of nectar and honey may be used in hives where the queen bee is excluded from entry to that super of fixed combs.
(2) When bees are kept by a person in or on any premises or place contrary to this section, the occupier or owner of the premises or place shall be deemed to allow such bees to be so kept.
(3) This section shall not extend or apply to feral bees in their natural habitat.
