An authorised officer may enter and stay in a vehicle if—
(a) the person in control of the vehicle consents to the entry; or
(b) the vehicle is stationary and—(i) the officer reasonably suspects the vehicle is being, or has recently been, used to transport an animal in connection with the carrying out of a business; or(ii) the person in control of the vehicle has been given an animal welfare direction and the entry is made at a time or interval stated in the direction to check compliance with the direction.
