Compensation because of exercise of powers
191 Compensation because of exercise of powers
(1) A person may claim compensation from the State if the person incurs a
cost, damage or loss because of the exercise, or purported exercise, of a
power under chapter 5 or 6 , other than because of a lawful seizure.
(2)
Without limiting subsection (1) , compensation may be claimed for a cost,
damage or loss incurred in complying with an action, document production,
help, information or personal details requirement made of the person.
