ANIMAL CARE AND PROTECTION ACT 2001 - SECT 200
Starting appeal
200 Starting appeal
(1) An appeal is started by— (a) filing notice of appeal with the clerk of
the Magistrates Court; and
(b) serving a copy of the notice on the chief
executive; and
(c) complying with rules of court applicable to the appeal.
(2) The notice of appeal must be filed within 28 days after the appellant
receives notice of the internal review decision appealed against.
(3)
However, the court may, at any time, extend the time for filing the notice of
appeal.
(4) The notice of appeal must state fully the grounds of the appeal
and the facts relied on.
