ASSOCIATIONS INCORPORATION ACT 1981 - SECT 6

6 Association may resolve to incorporate and adopt proposed rules

(1) An association may, by resolution passed at a meeting of the association by the votes of at least 3/4 of the association's members who are present and entitled to vote on the resolution (the incorporation resolutions)—

(a) decide to incorporate under this Act; and
(b) adopt proposed rules for the incorporated association.

(2) The proposed rules may be the model rules or its own rules.
