2 Commencement

(1) The provisions of this Act, other than the following, commence on 1 July 2009—

* the provisions mentioned in subsection (2)

* section 227.

(2) The following provisions commence on a day to be fixed by proclamation—

* section 172(1) and (2)

* section 173(1) to (3)

* sections 174 to 176.
