CREDIT ACT 1987 - SECT 8

8 Jurisdiction of courts

(1) In this Act, a reference to a court in relation to any contract or other matter--

(a) where proceedings in relation to the contract or matter have been instituted in, or are before, a court--is a reference to that court; or
(b) in any other case--is a reference to the court the monetary jurisdiction of which is not exceeded by the total amount payable in respect of the contract or other matter.

(2) In this section--

court includes QCAT.
