Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The registrar may, by gazette notice, exempt the board or boards of a trading cooperative or a class of trading cooperative from a requirement under section 143 or 143A.
(2) An exemption under subsection (1) may be given only if the registrar is satisfied that compliance with the requirement would be inappropriate in the circumstances or would impose an unreasonable burden.
(3) The gazette notice is subordinate legislation.
