Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) If the chief executive reasonably believes an advertisement about a casino does not comply with section 72A, the chief executive may direct the person who appears to be responsible for authorising the advertisement to take the appropriate steps—
(a) to stop using the advertisement; or
(b) to change the advertisement.
(2) The direction must—
(a) be in writing; and
(b) state the grounds for the direction; and
(c) for a direction to change the advertisement—state how the advertisement is to be changed.
(3) A person to whom a direction is given must comply with the direction, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—200 penalty units.
