Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The chairperson shall preside at all meetings of the committee at which the chairperson is present and in his or her absence a deputy of the chairperson appointed under section 7(1)(a) shall preside and whilst so presiding shall have and may exercise and perform all the powers, authorities, functions and duties of the chairperson.
(2) A quorum consists of--
(a) a majority of committee members who are representatives of growers; and
(b) a majority of committee members who are representatives of processors.
