COMMISSIONS OF INQUIRY ACT 1950 - SECT 14B

14B Protection to and liability of witnesses

(1) Every witness summoned to attend or appearing before a commission shall have the same protection and shall, in addition to the penalties provided by this Act, be subject to the same liabilities as a witness in any action or trial in the Supreme Court.

(2) Nothing in subsection (1) shall be construed to prejudice the operation of section 14(1A).
