Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) If the chief executive decides to refuse an application for, or to renew, a certificate, the chief executive must give written notice of the decision to the applicant.
(2) The notice must—
(a) be given within 10 days after the decision is made; and
(b) state the reasons for the decision; and
(c) unless the application is refused because a person mentioned in section 135(1)(a)(iii) or (b)(iv) does not have a current positive prescribed notice or current positive exemption notice—
(i) state the applicant may apply to the tribunal to have the decision reviewed; and
(ii) state how, and the time within which, the applicant may apply to have the decision reviewed; and
(iii) state any right the applicant has to have the operation of the decisions stayed.
