Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) This section applies to a rate that, before the commencement of this section, an Island council purported to make and levy on residents on the basis of a by-law made under section 50(1) or under a resolution made under section 45(9) or 50(2) as in force immediately before the commencement.
(2) On the commencement, the rate is taken to be, and to always have been, validly made and levied.
