269 Sections 153 and 223 not to apply to certain convictions for offences against s 139A

(1) This section applies if--

(a) a person is convicted of an offence against section 139A; and

(b) the offence was committed before the commencement of this section.

(2) Sections 153 and 223 do not apply in relation to the person's conviction for the offence.
