Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The commission may, by resolution, delegate to a commissioner, a senior electoral officer or a member of the commission's staff its powers under part 3 (other than under sections 44 to 46 or section 50).
(2) A certificate signed by the chairperson stating any matter with respect to a delegation of a power under subsection (1) is prima facie evidence of the matter.
(3) The commission must not delegate its power under section 235(1) or 249(1).
(4) The electoral commissioner may delegate to the deputy electoral commissioner or a member of the commission's staff the commission's powers under this Act (other than under part 3 or section 235(1) or 249(1)).
(5) A certificate signed by the electoral commissioner, stating any matter with respect to a delegation of power under subsection (4) is prima facie evidence of the matter.
(6) A document purporting to be a certificate under subsection (2) or (5) is taken to be such a certificate unless the contrary is established.
