Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) This section applies if a seized thing is an explosive, an ingredient of an explosive or a package containing an explosive.
(2) The Minister may declare the seized thing to be forfeited to the State even though no-one has been prosecuted for, or convicted of, an offence in relation to it if the Minister considers that the return of it to its owner—
(a) would contravene a provision of this Act; or
(b) would not be in the interests of public safety.
