Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The authority may employ staff on a casual basis, to help the authority to perform its functions under section 10, 11, 12 or 13.
(2) The staff are to be employed under this Act and not under the Public Service Act 2008.
(3) The staff are entitled to be paid the remuneration and allowances decided by the Governor in Council.
(4) The staff are not subject to any industrial instrument or any determination or rule of an industrial tribunal.
(5) The staff are subject to the direction and control of the director.
(6) To remove any doubt, it is declared that a person employed under this section may be simultaneously employed in another capacity under the Public Service Act 2008.
