Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) For a proceeding for a matter under this Act, the tribunal is to be constituted by—
(a) 1 legally qualified member; and
(b) 2 other QCAT members, at least 1 of whom must have extensive knowledge of and experience in the fishing industry and other fisheries issues.
(2) The person mentioned in subsection (1)(a) is the presiding member for the proceedings.
(3) In this section—
legally qualified member means a legally qualified member under the QCAT Act.
QCAT member means a member under the QCAT Act.
