Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The chief executive may delegate the chief executive's functions under this Act to—
(a) a local government or an entity prescribed under a regulation (a prescribed entity); or
(b) an officer or employee of the public service; or
(c) an officer or employee of a local government or prescribed entity; or
(d) an officer or employee of the Commonwealth or another State.
(2) A delegation of a function to a local government or a prescribed entity may permit the subdelegation of the function.
(3) This section does not limit powers of delegation the chief executive has under other laws.
(4) In this section—
functions includes powers.
