Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) A watercourse is a river, creek or stream in which water flows permanently or intermittently.
(2) A river, creek or stream is a watercourse even if the water flows--
(a) in an artificially improved channel; or
(b) in an artificial channel that has changed the path of the river, creek or stream.
(3) Watercourse includes the beds and banks of a river, creek or stream, and elements of a river, creek or stream that may confine or contain water.
