GUIDES QUEENSLAND ACT 1970 - SECT 9

9 Custody and use of the seal

(1) The common seal of the corporation shall be in the custody of the State executive officer.

(2) The common seal of the corporation shall not be affixed to a document except in pursuance of a resolution of the executive committee and, when so affixed shall be attested by the signature of 3 members of the executive committee, including the State Commissioner.

(3) Notwithstanding anything in this section, it is not necessary for the appointment by the corporation of a barrister or solicitor in or for the prosecution or defence of any action, suit or other proceeding to be under the common seal of the corporation.
