GENE TECHNOLOGY ACT 2001 - SECT 2

(1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act commences on a day to be fixed by proclamation.

(2) If a provision of this Act does not commence before 1 January 2002, it commences on 1 January 2002.

This section differs from section 2 of the Commonwealth Act.
