Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The council may do anything necessary or convenient to be done for, or in connection with, its functions.
(2) Without limiting subsection (1), the council has the powers given to it under this or another Act and, in particular—
(a) to appoint the university's staff; and
(b) to manage and control the university's affairs and property; and
(c) to manage and control the university's finances.
