Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) A person who contravenes or fails to comply with a provision of this Act commits an offence against this Act and, except where a specific penalty is otherwise provided, is liable to a penalty of 10 penalty units.
(2) Every penalty recovered in respect of an offence against this Act shall be paid to the body corporate on whose behalf prosecution proceedings were brought.
