Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) If an investigator believes on reasonable grounds that a person may be able to provide information relevant to the administration or enforcement of this Act, the officer may require the person to answer a question relevant to the administration or enforcement of this Act.
(2) A person who is required under subsection (1) to answer a question must not, without reasonable excuse, fail to comply with the requirement.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
(3) It is reasonable excuse for a person to fail to answer a question if answering the question might tend to incriminate the person.
