Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) If the Minister considers the financial circumstances of a lessee who has been granted a deferral of rent or instalment payments for hardship have changed to the extent that the deferral of payment of rent or instalments should no longer apply, the Minister may revoke the deferral for future rental periods or instalment payments.
(2) If a lease or licence is transferred, a deferral of rent or instalments applying to the lease or licence ceases to apply from the day of the settlement of the transfer.
(3) It is a condition of the approval to a transfer mentioned in subsection (2) that the deferred rent or instalments and deferred interest owing on the deferred rent or instalments must be paid to the State at settlement.
