LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1993 - SECT 1189
1189 Prohibition on local governments establishing certain superannuation schemes
(1) A local government must not establish or join in establishing a
superannuation scheme for the benefit of its employees.
(2) Subsection (1)
does not apply to a local government entity.
