Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The commission may, by written notice given to a person, require the person to attend an inquiry at a specified time and place to give evidence or produce specified documents.
(2) A person who is given a notice must--
(a) attend as required by the notice; and
(b) continue to attend as required by the commission until excused from further attendance.
Maximum penalty--35 penalty units.
(3) A person required to appear as a witness before an inquiry is entitled to the witness fees prescribed by regulation or, if no witness fees are prescribed, the reasonable witness fees decided by the commission.
