Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) A local government has no jurisdiction to make a local law or subordinate local law prohibiting or regulating the distribution of how-to-vote cards for an election under this Act or the Electoral Act 1992.
(2) A local law or subordinate local law, to the extent that it is contrary to subsection (1), is of no effect.
(3) In this section--
how-to-vote card includes a how-to-vote card under the Electoral Act 1992.
