LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1993 - SECT 989

(1) When exercising jurisdiction in an appeal under this division, the Land Court--

(a) is constituted by 1 member; and

(b) is not bound by rules of evidence.

(2) The appeal must be conducted as directed by the Land Court with a view to its prompt disposal.
