Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated ActsA Magistrates Court shall have jurisdiction in a personal action if the original claim is reduced to the prescribed limit, or less, by payment, abandonment of excess, or otherwise, or by deducting any sum for which the plaintiff gives the defendant credit upon the plaint being entered.
