Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) For the Mental Health Court exercising its jurisdiction, the registrar may, on the registrar's own initiative or at the request of a party to a proceeding, issue a subpoena requiring the person stated in the subpoena to—
(a) produce a stated or described document; or
(b) attend before the Mental Health Court to give evidence.
(2) The person to whom the subpoena is directed must comply with it.
(3) Failure to comply with the subpoena without lawful excuse is contempt of court and the person may be dealt with for contempt of court.
