Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) If, at the end of the consultation period for entry to an area, an access agreement for entry to the area has not been obtained between the permit holder and a registered native title party for the area, either party may ask the mining registrar to hold a conference for mediation about the access agreement.
(2) The registered native title party or the permit holder may be represented at the conference by a lawyer.
(3) A party to the conference must pay the party's own costs for the conference.
