Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) Recency of practice requirements, for a profession, are requirements, prescribed under a regulation, that if satisfied demonstrate that an applicant for renewal of a general registration in the profession has maintained an adequate connection with the profession.
(2) The requirements may include requirements about the following—
(a) the nature, extent and period of practice of the profession by the applicant;
(b) the nature and extent of any research, study or teaching, relating to the profession, undertaken by the applicant;
(c) the nature and extent of any administrative work, relating to the profession, performed by the applicant.
