Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated ActsThe main objects of this Act are to provide for the establishment and operation of misconduct tribunals that--
(a) act independently, and in a way that is--
(i) fair and impartial; and
(ii) effective and efficient; and
(b) have jurisdiction to hear and decide--
(i) charges, of a disciplinary nature, of official misconduct against prescribed persons; and
(ii) appeals from particular decisions made in relation to charges, of a disciplinary nature, made against prescribed persons.
