Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The Governor in Council is to appoint a member mentioned in section 11(a) or (b) who is not an officer of the public service to be chairperson of the council.
(2) The member who is chairperson ceases to be chairperson if the member--
(a) ceases to be a member of the council; or
(b) becomes an officer of the public service; or
(c) becomes the executive officer; or
(d) resigns as chairperson by signed notice given to the Governor.
(3) The chairperson may resign as chairperson and remain a member of the council.
