Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The Minister may, by signed instrument, delegate to an appropriately qualified officer or an employee of the department the performance of all or any of the functions of the Minister under this Act.

(2) A copy of each instrument making, varying or revoking a delegation under this section must be published in the gazette.
(3) In this section—
appropriately qualified includes having the qualifications, experience or standing appropriate to exercise the power.
Example of 'standing'—
The level at which a person is employed in the department.
