Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) An exploration permit holder may surrender a sub-block or some of the sub-blocks covered by the tenure if the remaining sub-blocks in the tenure area form a discrete area.
(2) A surrender under subsection (1) must—
(a) be made in writing; and
(b) identify the sub-blocks surrendered; and
(c) be given to the Minister.
Note—
The surrender takes effect when it is registered under section 337 (see section 337(5)).
