Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) An official is not civilly liable for an act done, or omission made, honestly and without negligence under this Act.
(2) If subsection (1) prevents a civil liability attaching to an official, the liability attaches instead to the board.
(3) In this section--
official means--
(a) a member; or
(b) a committee member who is not a board member; or
(c) the executive officer; or
(d) a person appointed by the board to conduct a health assessment of another person; or
(e) an inspector; or
(f) a person acting under the direction or authority of an inspector.
