PLUMBING AND DRAINAGE ACT 2002 - SECT 9

(1) The council consists of members appointed by the Minister.

(2) The Minister decides the number of members.

(3) However, the membership must consist of—

(a) at least 1 representative of each of the following entities—

(i) the department in which this Act is administered;

(ii) the department in which the Training and Employment Act 2000 is administered;

(iii) the department in which the Health Services Act 1991 is administered;

(iv) the Local Government Association of Queensland (Incorporated);

(v) the Master Plumbers' Association of Queensland;

(vi) the Communications, Electrical and Plumbing Union, Plumbing Division, Queensland Branch; and

(b) a representative of consumers.
