Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) This section applies if an authorised person reasonably believes there is a public health risk at a place involving an animal that has, or may have—
(a) an exotic disease under the Exotic Diseases in Animals Act 1981; or
(b) a notifiable disease under the Stock Act 1915.
(2) Before an authorised person issues a public health order relating to the animal, the chief executive or chief executive officer must consult the chief executive of the department in which the relevant one of those Acts is administered.
