Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) Subject to this section, the several courts of Queensland are invested with jurisdiction in all matters arising under this Act or the regulations.
(2) The jurisdiction with which courts are invested by subsection (1) is invested within the limits (other than limits having effect by reference to localities) of their several jurisdictions whether those limits are as to subject matter or otherwise.
(3) The jurisdiction invested in a Magistrates Court or in 1 or more justices of the peace by this section shall not be judicially exercised except by a Magistrates Court constituted by a stipendiary magistrate sitting alone or by a justice who is a stipendiary magistrate.
(4) This section does not limit the jurisdiction that a court has apart from this section.
