POLICE POWERS AND RESPONSIBILITIES ACT 2000 - SECT 479
479 Use of DNA analysis of DNA sample taken from child under 14
(1) This section applies if a forensic procedure consent authorises a DNA
sample to be taken from a child under 14 years.
(2) A DNA analysis of the
sample may be used only for the purpose for which the consent was given.
