Queensland Consolidated ActsWithout limiting section 618, power to examine a thing seized under this Act includes, and always has included, a power to do something that is reasonably necessary for, or as part of, a scientific or other investigative procedure involving the thing, even though doing the thing may damage the thing or destroy it.
