Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) As soon as reasonably practicable after a date is set for the hearing of an application for an impounding order in relation to a motor vehicle, a police officer must give the driver of the motor vehicle and each owner of the motor vehicle written notice of the date, time and place of the hearing.
(2) If the driver or owner is a child and it is reasonably practicable to do so, notice must also be given to the child's parent or guardian.
