Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) If a definition provision of a law contains definitions that are not in their appropriate alphabetical position (determined on a letter-by-letter basis), the definition provision may be expressed so that the definitions are in their appropriate alphabetical position determined on a letter-by-letter basis.
(2) If a definition provision of a law contains definitions in a particular order, the definition provision may be expressed so that the definitions are in an order that is consistent with current legislative drafting practice.
(3) In this section--
definition provision of a law means a provision containing a number of definitions.
