Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated ActsThe chief executive or a person authorised in writing by the chief executive, may, for the purposes of this Act, from moneys appropriated by Parliament for that purpose—
(a) conduct research and experiments into methods and types of river improvement work; and
(b) publish the results of any such research and experiments; and
(c) advise trusts in relation to river improvement works.
