Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) A tenant is the person to whom the right to occupy residential premises under a residential tenancy agreement is given.
(2) A tenant also includes--
(a) the person to whom the right to occupy residential premises is to be given under a proposed residential tenancy agreement; and
(b) the subtenant of a tenant.
