Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) A registrant, before carrying on a business providing surveying services under a business name other than the registrant's own name, must give the board written notice of the business name.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
(2) Subsection (1) applies whether or not the business name is registered under the Business Names Act 1962.
(3) Within 10 business days after changing the business name notified under subsection (1), the registrant must give the board written notice of the change.
Maximum penalty, for an individual or corporation—10 penalty units.
